Most people are familiar with the importance of Calcium for toddlers’ growing bones, but vitamins D and K2 are also vital for bone health, as well as proper Calcium absorption! Vitamin D is beneficial as it aids the body’s absorption of Calcium and Phosphorus and supports immune function. Vitamin K2 is also crucial for strong bones, but also for modulating Calcium — it activates osteocalcin which binds Calcium to bone; and it helps keep Calcium out of artery walls, where it doesn’t belong. It’s been shown that children between 1 and 3 years of age who received Vitamin D supplementation had not only higher Vitamin D levels, but also higher Calcium and Phosphorus. As well, it’s important to include this essential nutrient into your child’s diet as cases of rickets, a condition that can be caused by Vitamin D deficiency resulting in the softening and weakening of bones, tend to be reported during the second year of life. And, did you know our Vitamin D3 (as cholecalciferol) is the same form of this vitamin that your child’s (and your) body naturally produces when exposed to sunlight? Our D3 is sourced from wild-crafted, non-GMO, vegan Lichen. Lichen is a slow-growing, simple organism, known for growing on trees or rocks. Our K2 is sourced from Natto, a traditional Japanese food made from fermented soybeans. Natto is the highest natural food source of K2! The K2 is extracted, making this a soy-free product.
Suggested Use: This product was formulated for children, ages 1 to 3 years old. Shake well before use. Once daily, dispense up to 1 mL or 30 drops (approx. 1 Pump*) directly into child's mouth, or add to food or drink.

Q: Should I give these drops to my toddler daily?
A: These drops are designed to be part of a daily wellness routine and are formulated to meet the D3 and K2 recommendations for babies and toddlers, 1 to 3 years old. However, every child’s nutrient needs are unique. We made our product with a dropper so the dose can be easily adjusted! Your healthcare professional can help guide you on what dose is best for your child.
Q: What does this product taste like?
A: Our Vitamin D3+K2 Drops are unflavored, though it has the light taste of olive oil, which is the carrier oil for the vitamins!
Q: Why isn’t there a daily value associated with the Vitamin K2 (Menaquinone)?
You may have noticed that we no longer include daily values on our label for vitamin K2. This is because of changes implemented by the FDA, where regulations now exclude menaquinone as being counted toward the daily value of vitamin K.
Per the FDA: "The preamble to the proposed rule noted that there are three general forms of vitamin K: Phylloquinone (vitamin K1), menaquinone (vitamin K2), and menadione (vitamin K3). For labeling purposes, there is no specific definition for vitamin K and the AI for vitamin K is based on the intake of phylloquinone, the major form of vitamin K in the diet. Thus, the final rule establishes, in § 101.9(c)(8)(iv), an RDI for vitamin K of 120 mcg based on the AI that pertains only to phylloquinone." Nevertheless, vitamin K2 remains important for bone and heart health! K2 supports bone health by activating osteocalcin which binds Calcium to bone, and it supports heart health by helping keep Calcium out of artery walls where it doesn’t belong.
